Frozen pond white snow
Oak leaf skittles across ice
Sun glare squint warm face
Clear water in ice
Beaver lodge covered in snow
Woodpecker hammers
Melting snow like rain
From oak, maple, hickory
Drips on, down my neck
January thaw
Melting snow makes dripping trees
Sunshine on my face
White snow no tracks yet
My boots slide on mud beneath
trail of slush and muck
Forty degrees f
Four point four, four celsius
blue sky yellow sun
